In your company's office you may have a permanent IP address
If you go to Start -%26gt; Run and type cmd and push enter
then type ipconfig /all this will show your IP address
To release the ip address type ipconfig /release
then reboot your machine
go through the steps above, sometimes it configures the same IP address sometimes different
However your MAC address for your laptop is permanent and this can be associated with the IP in communication

If you're connected to a router, your IP address will also change unless you set your computer to a static IP.
