Should I exercise every day or every other day?

I want to tone my butt, thighs and stomach. I just want to have a good beach body. I'm 5' 8 and 125 lbs. I've found a few great workouts online that target these areas. The workouts include squats, lunges, sit-ups, crunches, and reverse crunches.

My question is: should i be doing my workout 40 minutes everyday or 40 minutes every OTHER day?

Thanks!Should I exercise every day or every other day? Here's how I would suggest you plan it.

Day1. Squats, lunges, 30mins cardio (ex. jogging)

Day2. Situps, crunches, rev crunch, 30mins cardio

Day3. 45mins cardio only

Repeat.

Try to do 6 days a week if possible. That is if you want to see change.

3 days a week (every other day) if you want to maintain what you currently have.

Maintain a healthy diet as well. Very important along with exercise.Should I exercise every day or every other day?you can workout everyday, but work different muscles everyday, as in let your muscles have a day off...that's when they growShould I exercise every day or every other day?your not that fat so every other dayShould I exercise every day or every other day?I think you are very fit already. (Heck, your BMI is 19, that's on the borderline of being underweight). However, if you want to do strength training to build muscles, you have the physical capabilities of working out everyday, but you don't need to because that would be a waste of time. So I think eating healthy and work out every other day for 40 minutes is more than enough.
