How important is it that i take my medication at the same time every day?

it's celexa...an antidepressant. i was told to take it at the same time every day, but i usually take it within a timespan, like 4 - 8 pm. should i change this? How important is it that i take my medication at the same time every day? That should be fine. Certain medications really need to be taken at a certain time because of their short duration of action, side effects (sedation, etc), or interaction with other medications. Celexa is not one of these medications per se. The half life is long enough that as long as you take it about the same time everyday, the vast majority of people will not notice any difference whatsoever and as long as you take it everyday, it will not effect the efficacy of the medication at all.
