I want to get reddish highlights but i swim every day, will the chlorine change the shade of my highlights?

i have heard that it will ruin my hair but i really want the highlights and im on a swim team so im in the water everyday, any suggestions or advice?I want to get reddish highlights but i swim every day, will the chlorine change the shade of my highlights?I'm just going to tell you now that it's a really bad idea. Red is the most finicky colour to have put in your hair, as it fades extremely quickly. The chlorine will most likely alter the colour as well. If you still want to do it, you would probably have to use a color protecting shampoo and conditioner religiously to help minimize fadage. Hope this helps.
